Our friend Jan joined me for running some errands. I was the navigator and her our chauffeur. We got a few prints made and picked up for Lindsey’s Celebration of Life this Sunday. We also had to return a few dresses, and found some more new ones for Lucy to try, and a couple for us to match. I am lucky and can still shop in the kids department. Lol!
We picked up Lucy after school in the convertible at her home, and Jan treated us to a perfect mermaid dinner at Whiteys.
After, we came back to Amma’s house to try on everything, and prepare for another school day tomorrow.
Now we just need to figure out some shoes that fit her for the warm season. They all seem to be too small or too big. Her clothes are ready for the morning, and she insisted we wear one of our matching dresses. Which one do you think will be first? If you know me, you know I love coordination and things that match, and this is just so much fun to have a little one to dress up with. I have missed this, since the times I cared for my littlest sister.
We spent a moment before sunset outside doing a little painting project, and playtime with my puppy Nai’a. We caught a picture of her taking Lucy’s photo. Too cute.
Lucy’s bento box is filled with nourishing treats for lunch tomorrow, as well a snack for the day.
It was time for bed with some reading, followed by few songs sung to lull Lucy to her dreams. Good night world, and thank you Jan for a lovely day!
