Axel didn’t choose to be brought into a family that became involved in trauma and grief. At nine months old, he lost his master.
Let me back up. My daughter Lindsey did a lot of research before picking this puppy. On July 1, 2022 Axel was brought home to her two kids and husband.
At nine months old Lindsey brought Axel for in-house training to a professional obedience school. Canine Co-Pilots Dog Training
It was during that time that Lindsey suffered an undiagnosed cardiac arrest, which resulted in a coma for 40 days and passing away at home.
Axel was brought home from boarding and training to find his master gone and her family in a state of shock. The follow-up training didn’t happen, and he was kept in their enclosed porch with a doggie door and a fenced in yard as his companion. There were some walks and play, but very rarely. His Husky talk became cries for attention.
Axel is part Husky and part Pitbull. He has a sweet disposition, high energy, and is eager to obey. He can sit and lay down on command. He has been neutered and chipped.
I would like to honor my daughter, and find another loving home for him. (I wish I wasn’t allergic to dogs)
Please feel free to share this post.
The sooner the better for all involved.
